Imaging

PsychoGenics profits from a wide range of different imaging options available in-house and in collaborations.

The workhorse is a new generation Axio Scan Z1 brightfield and fluorescence whole slice scanner. For fluorescence, four channels can be utilized (blue, green, red, far red) in combination with narrow band filter sets and LED illumination (Colibri 2). The very sensitive Orca Flash 4.0 camera mounted with 1x opto-coupler (no de-magnification) rounds off the setting.

More sophisticated imaging modalities can be covered by a high-class Zeiss LSM7 confocal or a similarly built multiphoton microscope.
